Doug DeHaan's Toronto SX & Race Plans

Recapped By: Carl Hein

Team Blackfoot Rider Doug DeHaan powered his CR250R to a 7th place finish at the Toronto Supercross in Canada but it couldíve been much better. In the main event Doug said, ďI had a good start.I was third when I went a little wide in the first turn and was planted off the track by Damon Bradshaw I think. It was chaos.I had to ride along side of the track and wait to get back on the track, which put me somewhere in the 12th Ė 15th position. My previous shoulder injury held up pretty well during the race, as I felt stronger towards the end of the event. After the race my shoulder was sore but manageable.

I will be riding most of the week in mud but Iím mostly practicing turning as I donít want to bang my shoulder up anymore until itís 100%.†† This weekendís plan includes a local race at a track in Auburn, Ontario.I will be headed there with my brother and hanging out with some of my buddies.†† I will be riding a stock CR250 except for the pipe, silencer and foot pegs. This should be fun.

Thanks for visiting my web site and Iíll talk to you next week.Ē
