Doug DeHaan Misses Las Vegas SX, Prepares for Toronto SX

Recapped By: Carl Hein

Doug DeHaan choose not to participate in the final round of the Supercross series at Las Vegas due to a shoulder injury he received the Thursday prior to the race. Doug was practicing at Glen Helen and was attempting a step up jump when he caught neutral on his bike instead of second gear. Doug was sent right over the bars and landed on his left shoulder (which is not his surgically repaired shoulder). Doug has taken most of the week off and is feeling much better.

Doug, Canadian National #5, is back home and practicing at a local private track. He has two of his Blackfoot Honda CR250s at home to practice with. On May 18th is the Toronto Supercross and Doug will be there and giving it 100%. When VRM asked Doug who his competition would be there Doug replied who cares Im going for the win! After the Toronto Supercross race Doug will have two weeks to prepare for the Canadian Nationals, which begin June 10th.

Watch for Doug DeHaan (#5) up front at the Toronto Supercross.
