Doug DeHaan Riding Strong at the End of the 125 East SX Season

Recapped By: Carl Hein

As the Supercross East coast series ended I finished up the series well! After the13th place at Indianapolis I did a ton of laps at Davi Millsapsís SX track over the next week and a half which made me feel much more comfortable on the bike at Pontiac, MI.

I wanted to finish off the series with a good showing and things looked great in the heat race as I had a great ride.I got a strong start and finished 4th.Great way to head to the main event.

In the main I didn't get through the first turn that well.I tangled with a few guys, which put me way back. As the race progressed I got into some good battles but they just were not at the front of the pack.

I passed Justin Brayton in the last turn of the race, which put me into 18th.Nothing impressive but I fought hard to catch up.

So right now Iím back in Florida and thinking about heading out west to finish off the 250 SX's on my Yamaha.I rode my YZ 250 yesterday and love it!Iím going to see, if I can get everything together for Dallas and if it all works out I will go for it!

Talk to you later,
