Recapped By: Bubba Bunders

VRM:

VRM:

Doug what have you been doing lately to complete the rehab of your knee that you injured earlier in the Supercross Season?

Doug DeHaan:

I have been doing a lot of bicycling and lifting weights. The last six or seven weeks I have been training my lower body very hard. I am now back on my bike and practicing. Itís good to be back riding and I feel like I am in really good shape. At Daytona last week, I felt strong through the whole main and my knee is finally not effecting my riding any more.

VRM:

Doug is your timing on the bike starting to come back now that you are able to practice on the bike again?

Doug DeHaan:

Yes! Itís getting better ever time I ride. When I first came back to racing at New Orleans it took me a while to get back used to the fast pace that it requires to run with the top riders in US Supercross. Today, at Minneapolis my timing feels excellent and I should be able to put in a top finish tonight.

VRM:

Doug do you feel you will be at 100% by the start of the Canadian Nationals?

Doug DeHaan:

Absolutely! I will be ready.

VRM:

Doug went on to qualify for the Main at the Minneapolis Supercross round by qualifying straight from his Semi. Doug was putting in a strong ride in the main until he went down in the huge whoop section before the finish line jump. Doug went on to finish 16th in the main event.
