Europe Spells Success for Doug DeHaan in 2003.

Recapped By: Carl Hein

We things are going well itís always nice to keep everyone updated on my latest races.I had another good weekend in Germany! The latest race was is the town of Munich. It was a three-day event, which is a little different for Supercross races. Each night they ran a two-moto format for each the classes, which included:250, 450 and 125.Then the top five from the 250 and 450 and top 2 from the 125 would combine to make the super finale race, which was the main event of the night.††

On Friday I holeshot and lead every lap of the finale.Saturday I finished a close 2nd to Jay Marmont, Sunday was a kind of a rough night for me. I twisted my ankle and was not able to find the same pace as the days before. My 250 classes overalls were 4th, 3rd, and 8th.The ankle bothered me a lot racing but it will be OK.Now I have a couple weeks off and then Dortmund race, which is the last race for me over here in Europe.†††

Talk to you later,
